I am sure most of you tuned in last night for MTV’s 2007 VMAS. If you didn’t you probably read the live blogging marathon a few blogs had going on. If you didn’t do that… well you didn’t miss much anyway. To catch a glimpse of the winners turn your pretty little heads over here. One of the coolest things about last night was that almost every single performance was horrible, but none stooped lower than Miss Britney “Trailer Trash” Spears, but more on that later. Thanks to a few helpful hands (thanks for the email Kevin, Rob, and Sammie) Pretty Much Amazing has compiled the Best and Worst Performances of last night’s VMA’s.

hey Chris Brown thanks for ruining all of the goodwill you fostered in that first minute by lip-synching awkwardly.

Honestly, was anybody really expecting anything more than dreadful half-assed MTV shlock from Britney? We’ve been saying all along how these new batch of songs sucked! And let’s recount what the other “live” performances have looked like this year. This had suckfest written all over it. Even Linkin Park, while one of the better acts, weren’t nearly as energizing as I’ve seen in the past.
That’s it I’m calling it; MTV’s edginess, time of death: 7:10 PM September 10th, 2007.
