Mail Call #1 (Mostly About In Rainbows)

Here is our first Mail Call post. I will basically bunch up a lot of cool links that have made their way to my inbox every Wednesday and Friday. Email me here and find your link up, unless its complete trash.

First of the many In Rainbow links we have for you (its only been some 30 hours since its release) comes from extrawack!

They have figured out a way to Download Raidohead In Rainbows Album Art for iPods and Zunes.

Flickr’s got an In Rainbows album art pool here.

If you are unsure how to add album art to iTunes, here’s how to do it.

Here’s how you do it for Zune.

Some of my favorite “Album Covers” are…

iGIF gives us the heads up on one of the first In Rainbows reworks. That didn’t take long did it? Sweden’s Mojib picked “Videotape”, a damned good track, to remix. I prefer this remix, I think.

mp3: Radiohead: Videotape (Mojib Remix)

I know, I know, four In Rainbow links might be pushing obsession but, you know what, I DON’T CARE. Reader DJN has informed me of a In Rainbows live compilation foudn on TUBE. It’s pretty decent here are my picks:

mp3: Radiohead - Faust Arp (Live)

mp3: Radiohead - 15 Step (Live)

mp3: Radiohead - Reckoner (Live)

mp3: Radiohead - Jigsaw Falling Into Place (Live)

Jango.com is a new Social Internet Radio site (still in Beta — 3 invites!!) you create your own radio station by selecting your favorite artists — then you share your station with all your friends. Jango also connects you with other members with similar tastes (much like last.fm). Although there are little quirks here and there, Jango is a not bad at all. Check it out.

Reader Mike sent me a link to an emocapella rendition of Taking Back Sunday’s “Cute Without the E”. In his words…

this is so bad you’ll actually feel your face turn.

emocapella basically says it all.

i just threw up a little in my mouth.

This Recording has a fantastic Ten Thoughts From My First Listening Of In Rainbows Post. Very inspiring, indeed.
