New Chris Walla - Sing Again
Death Cab For Cutie’s Chris Walla is finally scheduled to release his solo album, Field Manual, on January 28. This will mark his debut as a solo artist and the album will be released on Barsuk Records. He is the producer and songwriter behind many of Death Cab For Cutie’s songs and he has also produced and recorded with artists like The Decemberists, Nada Surf, Hot Hot Heat, and Tegan and Sara.
A few months back, an associate of Walla’s was stopped at the border while transporting some of the mastered songs from the album. The hard drive that contained the songs was confiscated by Department of Homeland Security, but luckily they returned the hard drive and now we get to hear the first leaked song from Field Manual, titled “Sing Again.” (via Critical Acclaim)
