To be blunt, a major part of blogging is reading other blogs. There isn’t one blogger out there who doesn’t read another blog. It doesn’t even end there, bloggers read dozens of blogs. DOZENS! I know, its crazy, I have no idea why we do it, but we do. I see a lot of things on my bloggy adventures, some are quite stupid, others are great, and most of them are pretty cool. I recommend all of you to go out and read mulitple great blogs, you do learn a lot. I’ll recommend some readings from time to time, but today I want to recommend some remix I’ve found on some great music blogs (through hypem or elbo.ws).

If you’ve stuck with PrettyMuchAmazing! thus far, you are well aware of my insatiable fascination with remixes. There are so many sounds and vibes out there, it’s crazy. Remixes are my holy grail, they come before covers, mashups, even the original track itself. Here are a handful of remixes that I’ve found to be quite amazing.

Spoon - Don’t You Evah (Diplo Remix) (YSI)

This Diplo remix of “Don’t You Evah” is available on Merge’s Digital Shop. Apparently all of the 99 cents goes to the Texas Criminal Justice Coalition. Wouldn’t knowing that your contribution helped Texas, make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

Hot Chip - Ready For The Floor (Jesse Rose Mix) (YSI)

Hot Chip are scheduled to drop an album early 2008. Without a doubt, it will be one of the most hyped about album of the year, maybe after Green Day and Panic! at the Disco. Sad, but true.
