New Music: Boys

Yes, it’s another new song by Ashlee Simpson, and this time it is 100% real. I am trying to figure out from this post if the two leaked songs were real or not. Anyways, back to this new song. It’s titled “Boys” from her new album “Bittersweet World“. I can’t wait for the Digital EP @ iTunes on February 5th. This new song is OK, but not as great as “Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)“. It kind of is something fresh to hear and it is very catchy. I hope her CD won’t be a flop.

New Music: Break The Ice

This mental pop star, Britney Spears, has been doing quite successful considering she hasn’t promoted her most recent CD, Blackout, at all except for the MTV VMA’s. Her third single is officially Break The Ice, and I think it’s an OK song, but I LOVE the instrumental, it’s a good listen.

New Music: Leavin’

The most recent project Jesse McCartney has worked on was his last album, “Right Where You Want Me‘. Although it did have a strong opening week, it failed to do well later on. Jesse is now back in the studio recording songs for his third album, with a new song titled “Leavin‘”. It is a different sound from what we usually hear from him, which is a good thing. This soft pop track will probably be a hit, with enough promotion. His new album will be due around March-May.

Here’s the new single and music video from Kylie Minogue. She actually released two music videos, the other one, “Wow” coming out soon. I just love the song “In My Arms” and cannot stop listening to it. I love how in the music video she has a very futuristic look with those glasses, however it looks like a copy of Robyn’s “Handle Me“.

Gwen Stefani Pregnant

Wow, the first month of 2008 is officially over. We survived it guys, give yourself a pat on the back. Now, I am looking forward to February and all, but I am kind of sad to see January leave. It truly was a GREAT month for new releases, and music in general. We had new music from Cat Power, Hot Chip, Kate Nash, Radiohead, Justice, Gnarls Barkley, Hello, Blue Roses, Magnetic Fields, and tons more. There were so many wonderful remixes and covers unearthed and polished for our headphones as well. Here is to January 2008, one of PMA’s best months yet!

Britney’s Meltdown?

Britney Spears doesn’t seem to stop - even with the opportunities given to her, she’s always crazy. Couple hours ago TMZ and JFX reports that Brit and Sam Lutfi got into an ugly fight in their car in front of the gate of her house. She started crying - and nobody knows why. She called Adnan, who then arrived, but Sam ordered the guards under strict orders not to let him in. Then somebody called the cops, who just wondered around and left. Finds out that the police were checking in on the paps. because they were going crazy around Britney. After the cops left, Britney went to Ralph’s grocery store by herself, to probably get some chocolate milk or another frappuccino. So, I’m confused. Adnan is confused. Sam is an asshole, and Britney is - still crying? I feel sorry for her.
