*‘Migrate’, Mariah Carey’s latest track to leak from her E=MC2, hit the blogosphere with an air of excitement. There has been some speculation that ‘Migrate’ might not be Mariah Carey’s follow-up single to her current No. 1 smash “Touch My Body”.
I really don’t see what the big deal is. Granted, the track is of crappy quality, DESPITE the MQ (Medium Quality) tagging. But giving ‘Migrate’ a couple of spins, its hard to differentiate ‘Migrate’ from any other booty bopin’ R&Cheese radio single out there.
Coming from the lady whose career bloomed with amazing songs like ‘Hero’, even to recent classics like ‘We Belong Together’, ‘Migrate’ as well as her current ‘Touch My Body’ are huge disappointments. I already have low expectations from Miss Carey.

Mariah Carey has made some amazing music in the past, while being fun. She has a name for her self, shes better than the crap we hear now. She is too old and mature to be pulling the crappy music shit anymore.
Her previous music are testiments to that.
Craig is right. Mariah is above this, she isnt 21, why does her music reflect that she is recently?
Its ridiculous! Just like Janet, she still tries to be Rihanna or Beyonce. Just grow up! Madonna did, as did Prince. It is possible to make great music and be mature. Mariah’s last album reflected that.
No No No Luis… Janet’s album is much more mature than Mariah’s singles.. None of Janet’s songs on Discipline are as tasteless as Touch My Body or Dee-grate.. Idk how MC got a #1 wit this…

i think it showed dat oredy…she’s juz takin chances n i think she did reall well…of course, some people loves her some people dont…so, its ur choice…for me, its good for her..whatever…
that track is hot, but geez… take a listen to some of her ballads, then you’ll think twice before u say she dissapointed u, “bye bye” is her next single, its gonna be a hit, definitely another #1. she’s still as good and beautiful as when she started. Say somethin’ when u can do better, ha
i find it really hard to take respect someones opinion when they say “dat” and “oredy”…
but i will entertain it. i love mariah, her voice is impeccable and many of her songs are great, but Migrate and Touch My Body? What the fuck? A huge step down from “Shake it Off” and “We Belong Together”.
Finally someone says it. Im baffled as to how “Touch My body” took the number 1 spot on the billboard charts. It isn’t even top 10 material. She has released much better music in the past.
Still, Id rather it be talent then say Soulja Boy.
I love both songs. Not every song is gonna be Hero or VOL. that shit gets boring. I’m glad Mariah is still taking chances with her music.
The record is #1 for sure.
