Whew! This will be REALLY LONG! The show started out with Ryan saying there were 97,500,000 votes! 97500000 MILLION! Then the top 12 performed “Get Ready” with the crew of So You Think You Can Dance.
After that both Davids sang “Hero”, which I thought that Archuleta was just a back-up singer, because Cook’s voice overpowered Archuleta’s.
The Guru Pitka was as funny as hell - he said to David Archuleta “You will soon grow hair in weird and wonderful places”
Syesha then sang “Waiting For You” with Seal. I liked it alot!
Jason sang “Hallelujah” again.
The music video this week was just bloopers from old Ford Commercials - cute!
The top 6 girls performed a medley of Donna Summer songs with Donna Summer, loved it! LOL Ryan was dancing like halfway through!
Michael Johns and Carly Smithson performed “The Letter”. IT WAS SO GOOD! They deserved to be recognized.

The top 6 guys then performed a group medley with Bryan Adams. I thought it was better than the girls.
OMFG Jordin Sparks announces a new American Idol theme park in Disneyworld, Florida! Woot! Later ZZ Top and David Cook performed “Sharp Dressed Man”. I SPOT BLAKE LEWIS FROM LAST SEASON! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!
Graham Nash and Brooke White performed “Teach Your Children” by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
The Jonas Brothers sang S.O.S., it wasn’t their best but I liked it.
LOL they showed a clip of the funniest auditions on this season! DOUBLE LOL the guy who sang “I Am Your Brother” is back! And with a marching band and cheerleaders! And he kept on singing when the music stopped!
One Republic sang with David Archuleta, “Apologize”. Honestly I didn’t see any connection between those two - it looked like the frontman of One Republic hated Archuleta.
Jordin Sparks performed “One Step At A Time”, which is her new single. I like her dress, and she looks great!
Ben Stiller and Jack Black and this other guy in a skit! Funny! Carrie Underwood performs “Last Name”. I SPOT ASHLEY TISDALE!

The top 12 perform one last time (sad, isn’t it?), and then introduce George Michaels.

Aw! It’s over! I’ll miss everyone from the show so much! I’ll miss seeing the Ford videos and everyone singing every Tuesday! I’ll miss the top 12 all together and smiling and having fun! David Cook definitely deserves it, and I hope David Archuleta has alot of success later on. THIS IS MY LAST AMERICAN IDOL POST OF THE YEAR!

Just to let you know, that was Robert Downey Jr (”Ironman”) that was in the video with Ben Stiller and Jack Black. The three of them are in a new called “Tropic thunder” that’s out this Aug in with Downey plays (and I’m not kidding) a black man.
Oh and I’m happy Dave Cook won. I was pulling for him at the begining of the season but had a feeling Archuleta was gonna win. glad I was wrong
