Coldplay have once again struck gold with their fourth album, Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends, it has displayed great lasting power in the global chart, topping the chart four weeks in a row with sales exceeding 3,400,000 — easily making it the No. 1 album of 2008, so far. No doubt, Chris Martin is feeling pretty high and mighty right now and being the generous guy that he is, as a thank you, the band offered a new song “Death Will Never Conquer” to their millions of fans, that wasn’t included in Viva La Vida…

This song reminds me a lot of the “Interlude” and “Exitlude” of The Killers’ criminally underrated Sam’s Town. This piano-driven, little song definitely feels like an album closer.
