Daft Punk have been the god fathers of French electro for years and everyone was extremely excited when we found out that the guys were hitting the studio. Now, rumor has it, that the album’s title is Ballo in Maschera, to accompany this new information, a song by the name of “Daft Gang” has been making rounds on youtube and forums. The versions of “Daft Gang” available are of really lowish quality, but this one here seems to be the best one available, at 256 kbps.
This one stinks of fake or at least crappy demo. I’d like to think these guys are up there making crazy sounds no one has ever dreamed of. This, quite frankly, sounds like a rejected Atari game. Listen to the song below

It sounds too much like Human After All. And I really doubt that DP would make two songs that sound so similar. Prolly fake.

This doesn’t scream Daft Punk to me, though you never know since they are always changing styles. A great track either way!

Unless Daft Punk have made a radical departure from their signature style, this is fake.
It’s hard electro house .
It’s way too obviously 80s influenced.
It sounds American, not French.
It’s too mixed up (many different parts, sounds like a shitty remix!).
That said, I’d enjoy this at 3am at a gay bar.

Not a bad track by any means, but it follows the basic electronic formula, which i highly doubt DP would ever do. It sounds far too much like what’s already out there. Daft Punk have surprised everyone with each of their albums. I doubt they would release an album full of stuff we’ve already heard.
