It feels like I’ve been listening to this song for ages and it is now barely getting a music video. “Viva La Vida” has proven to be Coldplay’s biggest hit ever — bigger than the GRAMMY-winning “Clocks” and its carbon copy “Speed of Sound”. This week, “Viva La Vida” celebrates two running weeks of keeping Katy Perry AND Rihanna off the #1 spot in the Global Track Chart (though only by 19,000 units) and it’s experiencing a steady increase in Top 40 Radio (its currently beating out American Idol Jordin Sparks, fellow Brits Leona Lewis and Estelle, and the current Billboard album-chart-topper, Miley Cyrus). All this iTunes and radio success made for huge Viva La Vida album sales (last week’s total was 3,955,000 copies sold worldwide, compared to Lil Wayne’s 2,159,000 sales for Tha Carter III which was released a week before Viva). Those are just some figures, just in case you didn’t know how huge Coldplay is. Anyway, here’s the official “Viva La Vida” music video.

Here’s the song sans cinematography and some great remixes.
