Oasis
Barely giving us enough time to get over “Falling Down,” yet another Dig Out You Soul track surfaces. “Shock of the Lightning” sounds like your everyday song, there’s just one small twist: one hell of an song. Take a listen:

Oasis - Shock of the Lightning

It’s less Beatles and a lot of more of what fans have wanted to sound like. With that said, isn’t this song so 1995?

It is rather 1995 but I love it nonetheless. Either that or I’ve been starved of new Oasis material for too long…

Oasis were at their prime at 95. They might as well stay there if you ask me, this is how I want them.

Great song, great feel, and definitely not what I expected at all. I get almost a euphoric feeling when listening to it because it really does feel like the early 90’s, which was the time of innocence and fun for me. I grew up in the 90’s, which doesn’t say much for my age lol. I look forward to their new album because both “Falling Down” and “Shock of the Lightning” are terrific.

I love it. Oasis don’t have to change at all, they just keep doing it better
