Make sure to download the newest episode of the pmaCAST: Looking Better, Shining Brighter Than You Do, featuring Four Tet, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The xx, Yeasayer, Department of Eagles, Hot Chip and more.

The official “next single” off of Keane’s forthcoming album, “The Lovers Are Losing” was played in British radio recently, and PMA reader Joseph has just sent me the radio rip. The quality isn’t that great, but the song itself sounds like a gem.
Like their free digital single “Spiraling,” “The Lovers Are Losing” still reminds me of the Killers (cira-Hot Fuss, namely “Smile Like You Mean It“), which is definitely not a bad thing. Stream/download the song below:

Perfect Symmetry, Keane’s new album, is scheduled to release October 13, 2008.

at the beginning, it sounds a bit like crystal ball, i like it
I like this better than Spiralling
I can’t say I like this song as much as their really good ones like “Somewhere Only We Know” and “Nothing In My Way” =( I hope their other ones are better…this sounds like a collaboration of “Colors of the Wind” and “Modern Love”….fail.
I really think this is the best song from keane ever… am I wrong????
This is so great! I totally agree with you on the Killers comment! RIGHT ON!
