The Weeknd - "Rolling Stone"
The Weeknd share the first track from their upcoming Thursday mixtape, the follow-up to their much loved House of Balloons mixtape. REC'D.

Iceage - "Broken Bone"
Super young, super noisy Copenhagen punk outfit Iceage show a great deal of promise on "Broken Bone," taken from New Brigade, their full length debut due out June 21. REC'D.

Pure X - "Twisted Mirror"
Austin shoegazers Pure X (formerly known as Pure Ecstasy) make the kind of pensive yet lackadaisical music that always feels like a bummer but you never think twice about leaving on repeat. "Twisted Mirror" is the latest slowburner from Pure X's forthcoming Pleasure LP, due out August 22. Here are some bonus Pure X downloads: "You're In It Now" & "Back Where I Began". REC'D.

Fool's Gold - "Street Clothes"
Los Angeles collective Fool's Gold trade afro-pop for slinky, electronic, jazzy power-pop on "Street Clothes," the first single of their upcoming Leave No Trace LP (due out August 16).

Teen Daze - "Surface"
Teen Daze is releasing an EP called A Silent Planet on August 9th, and "Surface" is the first track we've heard from the set. Not unlike the rest of Daze's short oeuvre, "Surface" houses a neat melody, buried under (at least) 10 layers of haze, daze and, yes, teen angst.
