Octover is the Singapore-based duo of scene lifers Jason Tan and Vanessa Fernandez, who have joined forces to record and release a self-titled record of heavy, sexy, thoroughly modern electronic music. We’re psyched to premiere first single “Satisfy,” which runs the sensual, after-dark film-noir vibe of acts like Chromatics and Rhye through a glitchy, grimy filter that recalls the arty, complex sounds summoned by producers like Evian Christ or Bondax.

Fernandez’s seductive vocals preside over Tan’s clattering, layered soundscape – never competing with one another for your attention, blending perfectly into a track that’s endlessly compelling. Check it out. Octover is due January 15.
