San Miguel Primavera Sound, or just simply Primavera Sound is Spain’s premier music festival, and just between you and me, one of the best music festivals in the world, period; the Cannes of music festivals. This year it’s going down May 31 to June 3rd and the lineup is pretty stellar (they are most years), including many of our Album of the Year contenders (Chromatics, Grimes, Japandroids, The Walkmen, El-P). Big name acts include The Cure, The xx, The Weeknd, Jeff Mangum, Death Cab For Cutie, Wilco, M83, Beach House, and Justice. Of course, there are dozens of others (you should really look through this). If you’re reading this, chances are you won’t be attending so you can listen to our two hour Spotify playlist and be jealous.
