I would make it a Jean-Pierre Melville movie marathon. He is the most underrated filmmaker of all time. Without him there is no Tarantino.
I’d watch Fight Club, simply because it is my all-time-favourite movie and I would want my first use of the machine to be great. Then I’d probably lock myself in a room with a bunch of dvd’s, a flatscreen, a dvd-player, a comfortable chair, some drinks and my popcorn maker and not come out for a very long time.
Grind House double-feature!
Either a nice Stanley Kubrick marathon, a proper watch of Memento, or the Prestige instead of the atypical comedy to placate my friends
The Godfather Triology
Zack and Miri making a porno ofc!
Memento, my favorite movie ever!
my cousin vinny
Either Slumdog Millionaire or Paris, je t’aime because I haven’t gotten around to watching either yet.
Woody Allen marathon (old -> new, ending with VC Barcelona)
I’d watch a marathon of TV on DVD, only the good stuff of course. That, or a showing of Little Miss Sunshine. Great film – and you can’t beat having Sufjan on the soundtrack.
ICHI THE KILLER !
I’d definitely watch either the Life Aquatic or Lost in Translation, maybe just have an all-day Bill Murray marathon!
I’d watch Field of Dreams! Very inspirational, and who doesn’t like baseball playing ghosts that live in random corn fields.
TContheRadio.blogspot.com
I’d watch Man On Wire
All oscar movie inclunding Benjamin since its long and SLUMDOG.
JAI HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I’d host a kickass Christopher Guest mockumarathon.
I would definitely watch the sequel to Green Street Hooligans, a part 2? most people i’ve shown this movie fell in love. A pirated dvd rip was just released in the ‘scene’ nothing would go better with GSH2! and popcorn.
In Bruges
I subscribed!
What an exciting giveaway!!
Yah!! I would watch maybe a really awesome scary movie OR ‘Where The Heart Is’. I *heart* that movie.
me and my friends would probably have one of awful horror movie or old movies you forgot about marathon. Im thinking the 3 ninjas series
I’d watch invincible & feel invincible with my own popcorn popper.
Maybe Glitter. Or Gigli.
Oh forgot to add my e-mail in the comment: purposedrivenlife4you (at) gmail (dot) com
I subscribed! What an exciting giveaway!! Yah!! I would watch maybe a really awesome scary movie OR ‘Where The Heart Is’. I *heart* that movie.
I’d put in the classic Matrix movie. When it’s over, I’d check out the best scenes from 2 & 3 (not gonna watch the entire flick).
I’m a big big fan of musicals so I would watch my favorite musical of all time: The Wiz. It has everything: awesome singing, amazing choreography, and Michael Jackson when he was black. What more could you ask for?
The Wiz or my other favorite movie, The Godfather, Part II. Yes, I know my cinematic tastes make no sense.
Dark Knight, or something scary like the Saw series
Man On Wire
Since I just found out that Howard the Duck will be on DVD come the 10th (Tuesday) of this month…I’d save the movie just till I got this awesome machine and gift pack so that my kids and I can make it a night of watching Howard, Goonies, Little Rascals, etc…
Oh, you’ve got to count me in for this one!!!! I need it and want it so bad; my family are all Pop-corn feens!!!!
-barbarabaker
I would watch I`m Not There, the amazing Bob Dylan movie I just got.
Oh my. I think I would watch Toy Story. Simply because it’s amazing.
I’d watch M by Robert Lang.
Lord of the Rings trilogy
my girl haha or momento…depending on the mood
I would watch The Royal Tennenbaums.
I would watch The Philadelphia Story
I’d do a Star Wars themed get-together with my best girlfriends where we’d watch episode IV, V, and VI. It’s been done before and the prequels are always banned!
I would watch “Transformers” because it’s so awesomely bad.. and Megan Fox, duh.
donnie darko for sure, best movie ever made
An American Werewolf in London, for thrills, romance, and a beautiful soundtrack.
I’d watch The Departed, because I just realized that despite the fact I’ve watched that movie more than 20 times, it was never with popcorn.
I’d probably watch something with lots of zombies and gore. Nothing says, “Geez, I’m hungry for some popcorn!” like a dead little someone with a face full of arm.
umm…. probably some pineapple express.
I’d watch Sweeney Todd because it’s an awesome movie and last time i watched it there was no popcorn : (
been meaning to watch Religulous
The Big Lebowski
We just got “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” from our Netflix queue. Hopefully I won’t laugh so hard that popcorn comes out my nose.
In Bruges
Would love rent that out to watch again, great movie!
Boondock Saints
So there’s defininely been some great suggestions already; props to the guy that suggested toy story, but with a brand new pop corn machine I might need to watch a truly epic movie; but not Epic Movie. At this point I’m against anything extremely new, not because it’s new but because every one knows about it right now. If I won, I’d have to go with Reservoir Dogs, followed up with Sin City, if only to see Michael Madsen’s progression between the two movies. Not to mention both movies were absolutely great.
Some one told me to watch Hard Candy. So that’s what I’ll be watching.
Godfather Triology!
I’d watch Wanted – not the best film ever, but you cant beat ridiculous over the top action like shooting bullets round corners!
I would definitly watch Slumdog Millionaire because it is my favourite movie ever made..
Aww.. it is just awesome!!
The Lion King, followed by a 1980s-1990s Disney Classics marathon (including but not limited to The Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast & Pocahontas). And I’d most definitely sing-a-long.
Pretty Woman of course.
I’ve seen it upteen times, but I always like watching it again.
Gog bless our troops
I’d watch the South Park movie and try to sing “Kyle’s Mom’s a Bitch” around a mouthful of popcorn.
It would definitely be Bolt!
Bad Taste – Peter Jackson’s finest film
i would watch zoolander because it makes me laugh. i would also add sour patch kids to my popcorn, as it is DELICIOUS.
i haven’t seen my mom in a while, so i’d invite her home and watch her two favorite movies with her: little miss sunshine and waking ned divine
I haven’t seen In Bruges yet, and I think popcorn should be eaten with a film that has a bit of fun in it, so yeah, In Bruges!
I’d have a crazy for Swayze marathon – The Outsiders, Dirty Dancing, Donnie Darko. OR get rowdy with Rodney and watch Back to School, Caddyshack 2 and of course, Ladybugs.
I’d watch Wedding Crashers, three or four times in a row. Favorite movie ever…
I would love to watch “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” but honestly, with awesome popcorn in hand, who cares what I’m watching. We’ll probably end up watching a classic with the kids – like “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”
i’d watch dumb and dumber
I’d definitely have a Before Sunrise/Before Sunset marathon with my first round from the popcorn maker. I find that popcorn goes down best with sweeping romances and/or hardcore action movies.
Entourage Marathon!!!! Nothing sounds better than this.
I’d watch Transformers.
Badlands.
All-time favorite movie.
This would be a match made in heaven.
I’d watch Big Fish
I’d cozy with my honey and watch Lust Caution, solely for the fact that Asian’s are fierce.
And maybe, if entropy hasn’t run its course in my apartment, I’d follow that with Paris, je t’aime. Get her in a tender mood.
lmao i pray she doesn’t read that.
UMMM Would Watch Mean GIrls For SUre
One of the following:
“Once”
“Trainspotting”
“Gremlins”
or
“East of Eden”
Gremlins!
Donnie Darko
Flight of the Conchords…not a movie I know, but one of the funniest series! “The Humans are Dead!…I poked one he was dead!”
Hmmm. I’d watch a lot more movies if I had that popper sitting on my kitchen counter!! I’d probably start out with a “classic” like Sixteen Candles or something, for old time sake. Thanks for the shot! Leslie (heypooks at gmail dot com)
Either Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure or any movie with Sinbad (Jingle all the way, First Kid, Houseguest, etc…)
Nice. ___ Sugar Mommy Match c o m ___ The first and largest dating site for Cougars and boys.Search for what you want, find more than you dreamed!
Speed Racer! It’s such a pretty movie, with popcorn, even better.
Josie and the Pussycat Dolls
Terminator with my boyfriend. Ain’t I sweet?
i would watch “part of the weekend never dies”
soulwax’s raveumentary
I would watch my favorite movie, The City of Lost Children.
Killer Klowns From Outta Space
You know, i’ve been rethinking my methodology of how to get girls. And it’s not about her…its about me.
So, being a man. I think i’d watch something damn manly.
And with that said, i’d probably have a Micheal Cera marathon. lol
Arrested developement, Superbad, Juno, Nick and Norah — sounds like a decent way to spend a day.
I’d watch Madagascar 2: Escape from AFrica with kids!
Princess Mononoke
Obviously The Sound of Music. Lets be real i almost cry everytime when ralph EFs things up for the WHOLE family. What a douche!
The Warriors of course…
“WARRRRIOORRRRS, come out to PLAAY-AAYY!”
Pineapple Express!!
without a doubt – CRASH! (:
I would watch Sideways. Top movie.
Oldboy. One of the best movies ever.
I would watch Stranger Than Fiction. Good movie
I would watch Sunshine. Great, trippy movie. Boyle has it.
I’d watch Hellboy 2.
duude.. PULP FICTION!! hands down one of the best movie ever!
did you know: Every time Vincent goes to the bathroom, something “bad” happens.
