I feel bad for 50 Cent. Kanye West is obviously going to get the No. 1 spot, but not only that but it seems no one gives a fuck about him. Kanye is on everyone’s minds, iPods, and radio stations. Even the Emmys had some Kanye action. Now, 30 Seconds To Mars emo front man Jared Leto is gushing over Kanye. Recently, 30STM stopped by Jo Whiley’s shack of freakish covers for a teary, alt. rock bored rendition of Kanye West’s “Stronger”. It might not be as bad as I think, I mean, how often to you get to hear guyliner queen Jared Leto say “you could be my black Kate Moss tonight”. Does that make him the black Pete Doherty? Make you grab a listen below, get ready to wave your razors.

He flubs the words a little bit, and I still think Kanye’s version is wayy better, but I like it. 30 Seconds to Mars gets a bad rap from people for no reason and I never have figured out why. At least he has the balls to do things you wouldn’t expect a rock band to do.

I partially agree with TJ here. I mean the guy’s got an amazing voice. I’m not sure I dig their music, but he can definitely pull this song off, albeit a bit slow, but what else is new?

For the record, I hate Jared Leto and am not the imposter Rawker posting above. Not a bad cover, though.

Poser? Oh god. People, please don’t go around pretending to be someone you’re not. Your opinion is worth a lot more when you aren’t trying to steal someone else’s identity.

Thanks. :)

This song is so amazing. I can´t stop to listen it. Jared ´s voice is like a drug!! He is such a good singer.

Maybe the song is boring to boring people.

It’s hard to deny that he at least has a great voice, especially live. I think it’s a great cover.
