Purity Ring’s “Lofticries” has still got legs, so we’re not surprised that Angel Haze chose to use the track’s unreal instrumental (and keep its title) for one of her two songs on XXL Magazine’s annual Freshman Class mixtape. Angel’s verbose, brutal lyrical brags surprisingly work well over those delicate synths (and added production by HiriiThe$kyGod) – she sounds even more extraterrestrial than usual. Check it out.
