Anti Pop Consortium Volcano (Four Tet Remix) stream music mp3

Old and new come together very effectively on Anti-Pop Consortium’s newest comeback track “Volcano”. The original version of the song will be released later in September but right now a fantastic remix by Four Tet is available early.

Anti-Pop Consortium have always had an old school vibe to their delivery and lyrics, but with Four Tet switching things up this track has a much more interesting flow. Hearing the guys from Anti-Pop rapping over Four Tet’s contagious beat sounds a little off at first, but then the second verse kicks in and the new school beat and old school rap start working together nicely.

If this is a preview of what we can hear on Fluorescent Black then September 28th can not come quickly enough.

I like it, but it feels like the rap is a little forced into the song.
