Fast-fingered beatmaker extraordinaire Abraham Orellana, better known as araabMUZIK, is following in the footsteps of Clams Casino and releasing a mixtape of the insane instrumentals he’s made for everyone from Cam’ron to 50 Cent. Appropriately, as these fourteen tracks read like araabMUZIK’s graduate thesis, it’s titled Instrumental University, and you can check out his thesis statement “Rubberband Stacks” now.

He made the absolute wildfire of a song for Cam’ron, Vado, and Busta Rhymes, but the instrumental version takes all that pesky rapping out of the way and lets you put 100% of your focus where it belongs, on Orellana’s totally insane, electrifying MPC mastery. Instrumental University will be out digitally January 31.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
