Being the skilled audio splicers that they are, Chicago’s ABX and STV SLV take A$AP Rocky’s mixtape hit “Peso” and seamlessly lay it over an impossibly fast sample of Purity Ring’s very, very excellent new single “Obedear.” Usually we’d think something like a mash-up of A$AP Rocky and Purity Ring would be nothing but an attempt to pander the so-called hip set, but damn if The Hood Internet didn’t just pull this off.
