Boom Boom Pow is dope. There, I said it. I may have knocked it down when I first heard it, but there is no other song that can make a club go crazy the way “Boom Boom Pow” can. My only beef with “Boom Boom Pow” is that I knew it would be difficult to remix. The Black Eyed Peas have already crafted a extremely dance-floor ready track and making a good “Boom Boom Pow” remix means you had to really switch shit up.
Even though it might be a challenge, I challenge DJs and remixers to remix “Boom Boom Pow,” because it’s the most fun song you will hear on the dance-floor this spring. So far, I’ve come across three “Boom Boom Pow” remixes I can get into bed with.

This remix is coming from the guy who made Lil Wayne’s “Prom Queen” listenable — and it reminds me of a balloon. The pitched up vocals to the synth-loop that resonates throughout the entire track are to blame.

T-Minus 321 adopts a semi-organic, semi-synth approach that ends up sounding like a Kanye West and Lady GaGa lovechild. If you don’t automatically know this is a good thing, just… you don’t even deserve an empty threat from me.

Despite an annoying intro, Mr Gaspar has made my ideal Boom Boom Pow remix. He slowed it down, something you won’t hear in many Boom Boom Pow remixes this year, and he added his own bubbly mark to the song. It’s a simple remix that doesn’t rely on too much on glitter and bling.
Any other ones I should be made aware of?

Where’s Kid Cudi’s remix of Boom Boom Pow at?
David Guetta’s remix is worth checking out if you hadn’t already.
@Richard, I’m going to give Kid Cudi’s “remix” (yeah, hardly a remix…) it’s own post tomorrow, when I get to work.
@Christian, I haven’t! Will look out for it.
ay luis..i know you dont cound taht cudi as a real remix per se..because all he does is add a “verse”
..but the 50 cent/gucci mane one..does that count??
@twoface. to be honest, I’ve tried very, very hard to just ignore 50 cent over the last year or so. I’m not entirely sure I want to stop doing that.
The LMFAO Party Rock is really a great one to chck out almost as good as the original. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sT5kFcfY4Qw&feature=player_embedded
haha no you just keep ignoring all 5o all you waant! I like boom boom pow (Chew Fu GhettoHouse fix) I think its on hypem and I’ll be putting out a boom boom pow justice mash up later. and My kid cudi remix is completely diffrent than the original, maybe its labled wrong?
Actually the Party Rock remix is one of the best I heard….

Word!
You should check out the Jeffree Star remix. It’s nasty and dirty. Even includes Obama rubbing clits…
Is it just me? Or does anyone else laugh HARD when she disses other songs for being so “two thousand and late” when this song sounds like a discarded b-side from the “my humps” sessions.
I’ve always thought the “two-thousand-and-late” line was pretty stupid.
One word: Jeffree Star.
im still not convinced about this song in general
I agree, heard the 2000-and-late line today and cringed. Luckily, I think Mr Gaspar cut that bit out; it’s my favourite remix. Of course… when has Gaspar even put out anything that wasn’t incredible?
Ha the songs a bit comical in a sense of real music and even when proper djs have a go it still doesnt quite become a banger.
Nice try BEP.. see you at Rock Wertcher
the remix of LMAO is the best imo
Here’s my house remix.
