Britney did fantastic on this album. I am so happy for her that she got herself under control and released a great album.

If you Seek Amy, Phonogrophy, Mannaquin, Circus, Out From Under, Kill the Lights, Shattered Glass, these are all outstanding tracks. Incredible. The rest of the album tracks BLOW!

and you left out “Trouble” and “Quicksand” which are my favorites.

Also if you’ve heard anything from Lady Gaga, you will know she did Britney’s “Phonogrophy” because the “GO” and “Hey!” are taken almost directly from “Lovegame” from Gaga’s “Fame.”

I don’t really understand why people keep calling this a HUGE comeback. Yes she is coming back from a horrible year of bad pr. But come on! Blackout was anything but a flop. Gimme More, Piece Of Me, Break The Ice, Toy Soldier…..they were all EXCELLENT club tracks that i STILL hear constantly. Piece of Me won her first first VMA (x3!). So I just don’t know why everyone is making such a huge deal out of this. I would say Madonna’s Hard Candy was a much bigger flop than Blackout and Madonna should be ashamed of her latest tour. What I saw was more than dissapointing. At least Brit had enough sence than to attempt going on tour this past year.

On to Circus! Love love love it! If U Seek Amy has to be one of her best tracks to date (along with Before The Goodbye and I Run Away – unreleased tracks.) Amnesia NEEDS to be on the regular release of this disc. LOVE IT! Circus is a really great track (and a friend of mine danced in the video and from what she told me it’s going to be HOT!)

I know Ms Spears will have much success with this album and I can’t wait to get tickets for her impending tour!

Quicksand and Trouble are two amazing bonus tracks and good album overall with If You Seek Amy being the standout. Madonna has to give it up at some point so Britney has to step up to the plate. Leave the real singing etc to Leona Lewis though “)

I think this is a great review. Though I haven’t listened to the album myself – I feel like I have.
A very insightful and interesting review.

And “…â€œRock Me Inâ€, rumored to be written by the amazing Lady Gaga…” – AMAZING I must agree GaGa is. This reviewer obviously knows what he is talking about.

Autotune IS Britney’s classic sound. Have you heard her warble without it?

Anyway, this is a pretty good album. My favorites are Circus, If U Seek Amy, and Lace and Leather. As a whole, though, it doesn’t beat Blackout.

My Baby is one of the worst tracks I have heard in the past five years. LITERALLY.

Saying that though, Circus (when chopped down to a neat 9 tracks plus bonus Trouble) is a pop master class.

I wholeheartedly agree that Britney’s management should throw out Blur or Unusual You as a single. Hey, is Rihanna can release 7 tracks, Circus should be allowed 5?!

“Trouble” is my favorite of these 6 songs but it kinda reminds me at a song I allready heard in the past. I’m not sure which song but maybe the music makes me think at 4strings? (Take Me Away of Diving).. no?
