I guess those remixes Diplo made for Britney’s “Circus” weren’t as officially as they were rumored to be. I guess it works out for the best — Villains’ remix of “Circus” is much more Saturday-Night-radio friendly and would fill up any dancefloor in a second. I’m definitely putting this one into my next party mix. While I’m at it, maybe I should add Villains remix of N.A.S.A.’s “Whatchudoin?” Listen to both after the jump

I wouldn’t say I was late to jump onto the Mr. Oizo wagon; I’ve been on it, I just haven’t made my presence known. This happened mostly because I’ve been putting a lot of the newer dance music joints in the back burner for a while now. I figured now was a good time as any to share the Mr. Oizo love. And also love to Too Many Sebastians and Ohh! Crapp… — two blogs I check religiously for hot new dance tracks and remixes. I scouted this quite great “Pourriture X” track from the former (via LA Friendly), and Soulwax’s remix of “Pourriture” can be heard in the mix, “Part Of NYE Never Dies,” that Soulwax did for Mixmag.

This “Circus” remix is FIRE! I loved the Diplo ones, but prefer this one because the production is tighter and everybody would move in the clubs to it. You gotta love those basslines. I’ll be sure to request this in the clubs.
Hmm, weird. One of my buddies here at PMA emailed me the track and said they copped if off Too Many Sebastians. They had pre-tagged the mp3 by then, I guess?

Production is Virgin-Ass tight but this doesn’t sound like the usual Villains recipe at all. This reminds me of Freemasons recipe. Villains should be a bit more daring since this remix could tarnish their hard-earned reputation. Am I alone here?
