SPREAD THE WORD: Pretty Much Amazing is calling out bands everywhere (especially ones who email me wanting their material on this blog), COVER “WOMANIZER” AND GET PMA-EXPOSURE.
Not only do I two new “Womanizer” covers to share with you, but I also have 2 bands to introduce. The first of which might be familiar to some of you. The first band is the cleverly titled Go To PopSense.com. This band was created exclusively for this Womanizer cover for PMA. Handclaps, guitar craziness, and Spanish lyrics brought to you by Jeffrey Luppino-Esposito and Stelios from PopSense. This cover definitely rivals Lily Allen’s cover. For serious. Watch out for their debut album It’s PopSense.com, Bitch! in 2009.
Another band that covered Britney’s Womanizer on PMA’s call is Timid Tiger, a soulful bunch of indie-electrolites. Their cover of “Womanizer” superb. It’s original and the last 2 minutes of the track get pretty insane. Highly addictive.
Here’s a little blurb from the band:
We love to mix music-genres and styles. Using selected live-drums and biggo beats, a bouquet of electric guitars, bouncing bass lines and a whole handfull of analog synthesized bling bling.
From dusty 60′s beats and shady 70′s grooves to catchy 80s keyboards and contemporary hip-hop electronicas. From old to new school. A passion for music. Doin our own Songs, Remixes, Mash-Ups and more.
Live on stage as a band, or in the club as a DJ-team using a bunch of live-instruments.
Catch these two covers after the jump.

the second is just wow!
Just wow. Both are great, though Timid Tiger is AWESOME!!!
I love PopSense! This is golden.
both awesome, thanks!
Wow… timid tiger! such an epic cover. Very proud to be put alongside awesome company!
As much as I dont care for the original, I’m so glad it was created cause now we get these great covers.
Woo! I can’t believe all of these bands are responding to your call! This is great.
We like yours too jeff!! very original!
I don’t like either of them.
shutup, greg
haha
Both covers are great but I think hype machine is fucking with one of them –
The ‘go to popsense’ one is one of the top most favorited posts on the site, yet they’re not listing a band name, just the track? I guess it’s not like a popular band, but can they do that?
I HATE hypemachine with a passion.
I <3 my Elbo.ws
everyone know that hypem is to myspace as elbo.ws is to facebook.
Of Course Man, that was the analogy of the day.
the popsense track is the number one most favorited song on hypemachine!! haha now thats what I call beautiful
http://hypem.com/popular?action=favorite
GO POPSENSE!! Though the hypem seems to have removed their awesomely clever band name. What dicks.
Guys (&girls):
1) We don’t allow people to put URLs or other forms of advertising in the ID3 data of the songs they post, this is why this was edited
2) Our records indicate that the popsense team has been making fraudulent accounts to boost the ranks of this track in our system, so keep that in mind, and
3) Merry xmas
Wait… but you can’t remove a track name just because they beat your system. That’s illegal. Lame pieces of shit.
We apologize to Luis who is being used as a childish battlegrounds here, but as to the supposed ‘fraudulent accounts’ – I believe it was our good friend Thomas Jefferson who said “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent”– We and our supporters know tyranny when we see it, and we refuse to stay silent. It’s unfortunate that hype machine mistook our bandname as promotional, but I suppose they have a job to do. We’ve had nothing but bad experiences with their organization and we hope that the blogging world soon realizes that the hype machine is abusing blogs by posting their tracks without making their viewers actually visit the blogs where the song was posted. As some commenters mentioned, elbo.ws is clearly a much fairer system. I apologize again to all who had to deal with this, but that is the way we see things and we will not be made a fool of by some self-righteous music aggregating website. o and merry christmas.
omg, Anthony from HypeM left a comment on MY blog.
haha.
I can’t really hate on Hype Machine — they send PMA tons of traffic.
OH and…

haha, yeah, wouldn’t expect you to.
I guess they’re not so bad if they’re a friend of yours.
We just got uber bitter cause they refuse to add us…sad times for popsense lol.
