Chiddy Bang All Things Go, PMA Premiere stream music mp3 exclusive Chiddy Bang are hitting the scene hard with their upcoming mixtape, The Swelly Express, due 10/29. PMA is proud to premiere another cut off the mixtape called “All Things Go.”

Chiddy Bang describe The Swelly Express as the true story of a journey of two college kids breaking into the “music biz.” The mixtapes’ lyrics and music will bare this journey in mind, which is clearly evident in both “Decline” and especially “All Things Go.”

Sample-based hip-hop has always been my favorite (Kanye West, most Jay-Z, A Kid Named Cudi) and Xaphoon Jones has always had an ear for implementing an “indie” sample buried withing scathing bass. “All Things Go” samples Sufjan Steven’s “Chicago” — one of my personal favorite songs of all time. This is real smooth. It's bitter/sweet that Chiddy Bang aren't making hot jams like Kids or Truth. But I guess Summer is really over.

LOVE the Sufjan sample. This song was really good lyrically, it's a great growing-up anthem. But the drum loop sounds familiar. Maybe a little Swagga Like Us-esque.

Nah, the drum loop is fairy generic. Most drum loops are… they all sound familiar to me. It sounds like a typical Kanye drum sample.

Xaphoon gets a lot of the praise. Yeah he's a fucking brilliant producer, but Chidera is a great MC. His voice is easy on the ears and flows like butter.

Their older songs (Kids, Truth, Fresh Like Us, etc) are obviously meant to party and dance to, but their newer stuff is def kick back and thinkin' music. Just hope they can still drop a JAM. Maybe the next leak?

Sick idea, but the high-pitch ruins the sample. I get it, hip-hop, sped up songs. I do. But its out lived its usefulness. Move the f on, boys.

The Drum loop is one of Xaphoon's favorites, i've heard it on another of his songs.

I rarely post on any blog, but I really do love these guys. Very promising if they stick to this type of thing.
