DIY trendsetters, Brooklyn’s Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, are returning to the forum (to the relief of their legions of hardline fans) with their first proper album since 2007′s Some Loud Thunder.
The band released opening track “Same Mistake” for free just recently, and are now giving away a new song from the forthcoming Hysterical.“Maniac” finds CYHSY confronting the upbeat, jangly guitar pop they brought forth on their debut, though it certainly has more bite. Lead singer Alec Ounsworth sounds surprisingly nonchalant over the abrasive bass lines and and full on brass section.
