I hyped Coldplay on Everhype.com and gave them 87% which I think is fairly accurate.

But then I found out they were going to release “Prospekts March” I was partly dissapointed. It obviously states that they’re trying to make more money from just giving us a few songs that couldn’t be on the original album. And when I actually listened to it, they were no where as good as “Viva La Vida”. My most despised one was “Lost+” featuring Jay-Z. ColdPlay and Jay-Z’s sort of music doesn’t go well together (in my opinion). Overall I am thoroughly dissapointed that they have released this.

In saying that and listening to it right now, i can say that i love a few of the songs, prospekts march is just like the colplay of yore which i have to say i prefer, parachutes will always be my favourite coldplay album and this reminded me of that..

Lost+ (ft. Jay-Z) is interesting they seem to work really well together and Lost is one of my favourites off “Viva la Vida”. so i was very impressed with this track…

Life in Technicolour ii is brilliant i loved the original and i love to hear how they added lyrics to it i wouldn’t be surprised if this was the song that they play live in Liverpool when i go and see them..

I am actually starting to prefer this to “Viva la Vida” purely on the fact that it isn’t this overly pretentious, and self righteous coldplay of “VlV” and more original coldplay, which alot of the american fanbase may not have heard…

i rate this highly and think you seem to have got your ratings of this and kanyes album mixed up..

although a very transparent move by the band it is one that i like haha, my rating is 8.5
