PMA is the ONLY music review site I check daily – love it – Keeps me covered on all my favourite artists while peppering in new ones to add to my palet.

For me, Pretty Much Amazing is a new find. I’ve been looking for ways to keep up with new music that I don’t usually know about, but most blogs can’t seem to do this without deeming my oldies-but-goodies favorites “terrible music”. Yes, I spend a lot of time listening to Fall Out Boy. Also, pop-punk. For a while, I thought I was merely going to be shunned on the internet forever! But then I found Pretty Much Amazing, where my music taste was accepted as acceptable, and then got shown new awesome things to listen to?? How great is that? I’m so thankful.

My favorite artist I’ve found through here so far is Janelle Monae, and I only have one complaint: I, for one, appreciated the fourth minute of (Coffee Is For Closers).

Thanks for accepting me for who I am, Pretty Much Amazing!!

I love the clean, uncluttered look; just pix, some straightforward commentary, and media links = nice simple design. Some kind of embedded media player instead of jumping over to MediaFire would enhance the browsing experience. I also like the fact that you encourage discussion / input through the comments section–it’s a nice way to get readers engaged in the site. Your bloglist is jaw-dropping. Thanks for your nice blog!

I am a relative newbie to PMA. I found about the site earlier this year from the Coachella ticket giveaway. After discovering so many interesting bands in the indie world, I knew I had to go to Indio, CA. While I did not win, I did end up going and solidified my love for such incredible music, that has been continued with PMA. While not a real-live concert per se, the availability on the latest, catchy, and creative music is I beleive the hallmark of the blog. I think one of the biggest strengths you carry is the transparent honesty, while one thing I think you can improve upon is the technical aspects (like server problems, wiping out the library, etc). Thank you for the music. Thank you.

The site is unbelievably clean – it’s polished like a knob. Simple and to the point it is without pretentiousness in that it does not pretend to be anything it is not (which is an mp3 blog).

Pretty Much Amazing is pretty much amazing! Its an escape every morning as, being in New Zealand, its updated each night (during your day). Its like…I sleep and you work. Even though thats not the case at all…time zones are buzzy.

Seriously though, the range of music is always exciting and I have had my musical library opened to some great new artists I’ve missed out on down in this part of the world. I only wished we got more of the artists touring here. Thank god Fleet Foxes are coming soon!

It would be cool if you included some small bands from around the world more. I’d like to see that, as I’m sure that bands email you their stuff (I wonder if you are prevented in case their work is plagiarized).

Well.. IÂ´m a new reader, i found the site just today thanks to a comment that was inside the metadata of a song: I opened the songÂ´s data on iTunes and there was the siteÂ´s URL, so i thought: Why not?. It is really a good site. Good reviews, i liked a lot the Folie a Deux one. I hope this site will be one of my sources to new music.

Pretty Much Amazing one hell of a music blog. I love the simple design, your honest opinions on music and the variety — proof: Fall Out Boy, Soulwax, Tiga, Late of the Pier, MGMT, The Chemical Brothers, Mr Oizo, Zombie Nation, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Hot Chip, Peter Gabriel, Vampire Weekend, Janelle Monae, and Britney Spears are all on the HOMEPAGE at the time of writing! How many blogs can say that?
