DJ Eli & co. One Ups Chris Brown mp3

I’m not a huge fan of Chris Brown. None of his material ever interested me. Everything that came from this kid always sounded too over the top, including this new single “Kiss Kiss” which features an equally annoying and overrated T-Pain. I’m still confused as to why this song is No. 1 in America this week, I’d take Soulja Boy over this fool any day. Almost as if he can somehow read my mind, DJ Eli whips out his spin of “Kiss Kiss” with buddies Doug Grayson and Wale.

The track’s slow, hollow instrumentals and sleek synthesizers and sirens flawlessly distract the listener of Brown’s vocal limitations and does well with T-Pains technocorded spins.

I am not completely convinced of the stability of this track as a whole. I can see it will do fantastically well in Urban radio, and apparently its a hit on iTunes. Which makes me a tad bit sad.

Gonna have to disagree. I’m just now getting into Chris Brown, and I love what he does. It may not be anything groundbreaking, but still, the knowledge that he’s all of 18 and showing as much skill as the likes of Usher wows me incredibly. I liked most of the new album, though “Kiss Kiss” isn’t the best track off it. That honor goes to “Wall to Wall”. Checking out the remixes now.

Booo. TJ you disappoint me =P
:)

I must admit, while I’m driving, I used to automatically change the dial when “Kiss Kiss” would come out… I’ve suddenly stopped doing that

I just listened to the Chris Brown CD and it is better than I expected. Although not as good as this Seattle hip-hop artist I just discovered, Anthony Shears. His album The Growth: My ENDtroduction is incredible.

… SOULJA BOY over this?! I have no respect for you at all anymore. SB is seriously a discrace to music, and gives hip hop and rap a bad name. It’s a group like that that makes people look down upon those like Lupe Fiasco who attempt and succeed at producing quality hip hop / rap tracks.

Seriously… Soulja Boy. Man, I’m out of here.
