LCD Soundsystem may be “finished” but at least James Murphy is still out there spinning and providing mixes for fans to groove to.
The legendary New York singer/songwriter/producer/record man recently stopped by Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space radio show to provide a three hour long, two part set that incorporates a lot of music from the Permanent Vacation label – including jams from Azari & III, Woolfy and Todd Terje – as well as two songs from DJ Steef and even Prince.
You can stream the mix via the BiS website, below, during which Murphy promises that he is working on a new “DFA mixer,” coming out soon.
