After last weekend’s OVO Festival proved how many awesome friends Drake has, we kind of expected his next release from Nothing Was the Same would be an insane seven-minute posse cut featuring the Weeknd and/or Kanye West and/or 2 Chainz. Instead we got this woozy, devotional, butter-smooth mixtape-closer “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” featuring help from Majid Jordan and ’80s-tinged production from Nineteen85 and Noah “40” Shebib. It’s completely out of left field but it’s great, proving the extent of Drake’s versatility. Nothing Was the Same is out September 17.

Raekwon, Killer Mike, Pusha T, Danny Brown, YG, Action Bronson, Young Thug, and more show up.
He also makes a quick cameo as a detective.
“Bubs” is a collaboration with PC Music’s A.G. Cook.
Another new track to follow up last week’s “A Kick To The Face.”
Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
From his still-unannounced new album, featuring Thundercat, Bilal and production from Astronote.
With help from Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij and an amazing piano.
