I don’t see the similarities between La Roux or Little Boots. High near-falsetto voice? Yes. Music? No. Ellie’s sound is a lot more stripped down and her music is vocals and lyric-centric.

No matter how good she is.. she's just another Little Boots/La Roux. Nothing new or original (except for that awesome Dubstep remix). Her covers were really great though. If only her stuff was more like her Bon Iver cover.

That would be fresh and exciting.
