Katy B’s one of our favorite emerging pop stars – her songs are Top 40 radio-ready, sure, sexy, fun, and catchy, but they’re quite smart too, taking account of underground electronic trends and often featuring indie stars. Her new EP Danger is fantastic – it features everyone from Jessie Ware (who duets and trades off admonitions with Katy on “Aaliyah”) to Iggy Azealea (on “Light as a Feather”) to help from the grime rapper Wiley (who adds a verse over a fantastic, tropical-meets-industrial Zinc beat on the banger “Get Paid,” which will be your jam from today into eternity). Check it out.

From his still-unannounced new album, featuring Thundercat, Bilal and production from Astronote.
With help from Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij and an amazing piano.
These guys would probably get along if they ever met.
