Flying Lotus contributes to Adult Swim’s summer single series this week with “Between Friends,” featuring Odd Future’s formerly lost brother Earl Sweatshirt and a mysterious dude that drops Star Wars references like VMA mics and goes by Captain Murphy.
FlyLo has an album out on October 2nd called Until The Quiet Comes, and while we haven’t heard anything off that yet, “Between Friends” is a nice reminder of what he’s capable of, at least in the confines of a rap song.
