I’m not sure if I can take this guy seriously. His tunes are definitely catchy, but spelling music with a “k” might be a little too altphonic for me. But I can’t deny the reality that surrounds Frankmusik. Not since Lady GaGa has an underground pop act made so much noise throughout the blogosphere. F
Frankmusik’s tour de force has been headlined by captivating first single “3 Little Words,” and there have been no signs of slowing down yet. If anything, the buzz will only snowball from here. Everyone knows that riding the popularity of another artist via cover and/or remix is the best way to stay relevant in this fast-paced music blog world, and that is exactly what Frankmusik did.
Frankmusik’s cover of Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab” transforms the modern classic into a campy, ravey anthem. Is it different? It definitely is. Tons of kudos for that alone. Is it good? Not necessarily.

Don`t really…like it.
Awful shit. Could be a hit at Ibiza raves, though.
shit , how awful can you make it ?! :O
Sounds like he’s turning the volume up and down
the word you were looking for is allophonic, and i’m not to crazy about frankmusik, he still hasn’t found that balance between artistry and mass media “commercialism” “musik”. i’ve met him though, and he is a really nice guy, he DJ’d at the hoxton pony on new years eve for bangers&mash, he’s rather down to earth, but takes himself rather seriously. S x
Color me blind, but I really like this. I wasn’t so sure about FrankMusik myself, but he’s really grown on me.
This is like the audio version of a strobe light. CAUTION!!! this song may cause seizures…
I really like Frankmusik, and “3 Little Words” is just such a great song in my opinion, but I don’t think he really hit the mark with this one. It isn’t bad, although I’m not a hugely keen on whatever the hell he did with his vocal editing. All that jumping around in volume is more annoying than it is intriguing.
Uk music is definitely at a new level this year.. check out this new artist i stumbled across the other day called Harmonay – http://www.myspace.com/iamharmonay … http://www.iamharmonay.com
Decided to promote her and her new single called ‘Are You A Raver?’
