Philly’s Free Energy is the fantastic new talent signed onto DFA. “Dream City,” the first single from the band’s forthcoming debut, Stuck on Nothin’, oozes city fun outside that so-hipster realm that seems to follow city fun around. I suggest you catch on fast, because Free Energy will be riding the Pitchfork and James Murphy hype train all the way to the big leagues, and as far as I can tell, they belong there.
