Free Energy, the band, have just released an mp3 for “Free Energy,” the song. “Free Energy” can be found on Free Energy’s debut 7″ out on July 21st on DFA. The single will be backed by “Something In Common” and will be limited to 350 copies.
If you remember, Free Energy were responsible for the great, great summer jam “Dream City.” The new single never quite reaches the excellence that is drenched in “Dream City,” but it’s still a great hooky track, tinged with that muddy garage-band feel that made you fall in love with the Strokes and Little Joy.
