My favorite online record store, Insound started a live session series in January with Surfer Blood. A few days ago, Free Energy stopped by to perform “Free Energy” “Bang Pop” (new song!) and “Dream City”. You can watch Free Energy’s performances over at the Insound Studio Session website in high quality. You can also download the live version of the feel good jam of 2009, “Free Energy” at the site, or below:

Free Energy’s full length debut, Stuck On Nothing is hitting stores April 20th on DFA/Astralwerks. I have been listening to the album all weekend on my iPod, you’re going to want to hold this one in your hands.
