Gnarls Barkley + The Shins = Broken Bells mp3

PMA will be off for the Holidays. Regular posting will be back on track next Monday, December 28th. Until then, here are a few quick music fixes:

Danger Mouse (, The Grey Album) and James Mercer (!) are making music together under the moniker . They are giving away their first single, “The High Road” for free.

MP3: Broken Bells “The High Road”

What’s the verdict? It’s a lot different than I imagined it to be, but I’m definitely on board. Pre-order the debut long-player here. [via]

I agree, it is definitely different than I thought it would be also. I really like it a lot, and am excited to hear what their other songs are going to sound like. I love the instrumentation of this song.
