Episode 1’s Music Showdown closed this morning to 90210’s music selection for episode 1 KILLING Gossip Girl’s music choices for both shows’ first episodes of this season. I’ve noticed that a lot of you Gossip Girl lovers are nulling this poll because Gossip Girl played a lot of the songs 90210 played, last season. I know, I know, but the poll is comparing this season’s episodic music choices. We’re looking at these at a week-to-week basis. So, yes, the winner of Episode 1’s Music Showdown is 90210, who took a whooping 69% of the votes!

Now on to Episode 2.

Gossip Girl
Gossip Girl’s second episode aired last night. it was fantastic was it not?
Gossip Girl – Never Been Marcused 9.0.08
Santogold – Creator
Seabear – Cat Piano
LCD Soundsystem – New York, I Love You…
The Pierces – A Boy in A Rock ‘n’ Roll Band
The Fratellis – Tell Me A Lie

90210
90210’s second episode aired together with its first. The music selection is, once again, amazing.
90210 – The Jet Set 9.02.08
Adele – Daydreamer
Jem – I Always Knew
The Ting Tings – Great DJ
Jason Mraz – I’m Yours
Kevin Rudolf & Lil Wayne – Let It Rock
Brendan McCreary – Live Forever
Franz Ferdinand – Lucid Dreams
Metro Station – Shake It
The Hives – Try It Again

So, it is your turn to vote. My vote goes to 90210.

it really depends on what music you like
90210 seems to be playing some very well known bands. but gossip girl plays less well known bands
shows are equally amazing though
