Good news for fans: Grouper’s magnificent Dragging a Dead Deer Up A Hill will be re-released on vinyl next year, alongside an LP of new, unreleased material Liz Harris also recorded while she was working on Dragging. It’s called The Man Who Died In His Boat, and you can now check out the sublime, slow-burning title track, which is gorgeously morose, the perfect soundtrack for a long drive on a rainy day. We can’t wait to hear the rest of the record – it drops February 4 on Kranky. Check this out in the meantime.
