Kanye West Cover: Heartless by The Fray stream music mp3 covers

I was just perusing Mr. West’s blog, and happened to find a pretty cool cover of “Heartless” by none other than The Fray! The “talk and talk and talk and talk” part is excellent. Listen to it below:

The Fray- Heartless (cover)

This is a very good cover, but it doesn’t reach greatness for me. Let PMA know what you think in the comments, and then head over to Kanye’s blog and let him know, too!

I so cannot believe I am about to say this as I am a huge proponent of “putting the vocoder down,” but I think this tune needs it.

I do, however, also like it when they hit the “talk and talk and talk and talk” point. The edginess definitely works, and I think if the entire song had been sung in that manner, I might like it a bit more.

how can people slag this cover off it is absolutly brillient the point of a cover is to put your own twist on a song that is what they have done they have made it their own and it’s worked :) i know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but this cover is good

i think the cover is absolutely brilliant! They made it their own and gave the song a twist and feeling it didn’t have before. Loved it!
