I am admittedly a bit late on the Kid Cudi train, but he is definitely on my 2009 watchlist (along with a few other acts! more info on that later). “Sky High” some of the one of the dopiest Cudi verses I’ve ever heard. Incorporating Kanye on the track is also buttery smooth. Here’s to hoping for a year filled with Kid Cudi goodness.

This is actually just a Kid Cudi verse over the “Sky High” song Kanye did a couple months back. The original, with Yeezy’s verse, is from a mixtape he did with DJ Benzi & Plain Pat just before he dropped 808s & Heartbreaks.

That takes nothing away from Cudi though, he’s part of a dope new wave of rappers

Kid Cudi’s mixtape – A Kid Named Cudi is sick. 2008 Lil Wayne = 2009 Kid Cudi.

i dunno…. different types of rap, both excellent, but i think Drake > Kid Cuddi. Lil Wayne’s Boi better than Kanye’s boi. Still love em both.
