Kid Cudi – Can I Be
So how cool is Kid Cudi, right? I’m sure he probably thinks he’s so indie right now. First he sampled Band of Horse’s “Funeral” on “The Prayer” and now he’s jumped on LCD Soundsystem’s nu-classic “Someone Great.” It makes me cringe to hear Cudi say “pop that pussy hole” over a song like “Someone Great” — couldn’t he find another song to sample? There are just some things you don’t mess with. Maybe next time he will talk about poppin’ pussyholes over a Radiohead song. Oh wait, that’s been done (although, with much more taste). “Can I Be” comes from Cudi’s upcoming mixtape, Back 2 the Basics. Listen to it below:
Groove Armada – Pull Up (Crank It Up) (Mad Decent/Diplo B-Live Remix)
This one is will make you want to Dance! Dance! Dance! This remix is made for the dancefloor and it belongs there. Put this one up on your weekend party playlists for sure. Diplo and co really outdid themselves this time.

I pretty much share all of your thoughts — Kid Cudi messed with the wrong lcd soundsystem song.
And that remix is so hot.
This is why I read your blog.
Hey, don’t start hating on Cudi, he’s one of the most promising new rappers around — you said so yourself, Luis.
You can’t compare this to Jaydiohead. This is one of the weakest Cudi track’s I’ve ever heard. Not impressed.
DAMN hot remix
“There are just some things you don’t mess with.”
That’s just plain stupid. You can mess with everything. EVERYTHING! That’s the beauty of it.
I saw a very similar post on another blog.
This track is a freestyle Cudi did for a mixtape that came out in December. This is NOT off any upcoming mixtape!

Maybe he likes indie music. Relax, the original is hardly the old testament.
