This dashing young man is Kris Allen (affectionately known as Kris with a K, ’round here), and he is my choice Idol, despite some early reports claiming that he’s getting the boot tonight. Yikes. If you watch Idol then you know by know that there’s no chance in hell that the Adam Lambert machine is going down, and rightfully so — that guy has pipes(!) — but I’d like to see Kris in the finale with him instead of whatshisface.
While Adam may have made this season somewhat interesting, Kris Allen was always the quiet guy in the corner that decided to tackle Oscar-winning songs and contemporary hits alike. Earlier this season he performed Academy Award winning song, “Falling Slowly” from the beautiful film “Once,” as well as perform an acoustic rendition of Kanye West’s “Heartless” live in front of 20 million Americans last night. That performance, without a doubt, will go down in Idol history. Consider this PMA’s only endorsement of an Idol this year. Kris with a K FTW (that is, unless he’s booted tonight)! Not a fan of American Idol anymore, but that performance of “Heartless” makes me want to watch the finale. If he is in it, I hope he beats the Adam guy, cause he just annoys me.

Im the first to say that Kris made it through!!! was reading PMA while listening to the TV in the other room.
Adam annoys the hell out of me too. He has pipes, but he sounds like he belongs in a female lead role in a musical. That shriek he does is so freaking annoying. It’s like fingers on a chalkboard to me at this point. And he does it in every song because he knows that the judges love it. Not sure why. So he can hit super high notes that only dogs can hear. Great. Doesn’t mean he should do it in every single song.

adam’s mad world was unbelievable. it’s probably just his style of singing. i don’t think he’s doing it to kiss ass. on the other hand, kris has style
found the studio version here which I think is much better than the live one. cheers!
I think the live Heartless version is so much better than the one on iTunes. And Falling Slowly is just awesome.

Sorry patrick but you were very wrong! As you are aware by now Kris Allen is the winner because my Danny told his fans to vote for Kris over adam. You lose once more!
