Lil Wayne Prom Queen + New Album stream music mp3

“Prom Queen” is the first single off Lil Wayne’s new rock album Rebirth due in a few months (April 7th), according to MTV. This is NOT Tha Carter IV, or another Cater III, this is just Weezy wanting to rock out.

And you know what? It’s not terrible, but with that said, I don’t really think it’s that good either. It’s just there. Auto-tune and all. My gut feeling was that “Prom Queen” is a terrible first-single choice (not that I’ve heard the rest of the album, but I hope most of it is better than this).

How does Lil Wayne expect to sell another milli on the week of April 7th with this as the lead?

I agree that this isn’t a great single choice, but I don’t think it will make or break the album. Lollipop was a great single for Wayne but A Milli took it to the next level for a lot of people. Also since Wayne is Wayne he will probably sell anyway because of his name. However I hope the album actually does deserve all this attention and is good.

Yea, I’m hoping he’ll release Hot Revolver as a quick second single…

Yeah I agree, the track sounds lo-fi, guitars and drums aren’t hitting.

it’s not the greatest thing ive heard lately but its not god awful either. hopefully the album has more though cause if this is his best then i’m not impressed.

Maybe he’s lowering expectations for the next single? I hope so for his sake.

OK, I hope this trend of rappers singing with vocalizers ends soon because it mostly sounds like shit.

This is even worse than I though it was going to be. This is a joke.

It’s not awful and given I didn’t realize he was putting out a rock album, it’s better than 90% of the rap-rock stuff out. I mean, inane lyrics are a rock staple and so, if the riffs are halfway decent — and they were here — he’ll have his Lil’ fans going crazy.

Prom queen was a good single for a rock album expecting more like this
