Little Boots New In Town (Drop The Lime & Fred Falke Remixes) remixes music mp3
Damn it guys! All weekend I’ve had a ton of people emailing me, IMing me, and Twittering me about “Little Boots’ new single.”

So is “New In Town” Little Boots’ new single? Who knows, neither Boots or her label have confirmed anything. Any and all rumors have blown up because of two remixes by Drop The Lime (I’m unfamiliar here) and Fred Falke (oh crap, really?). Why is Fred Falke remixing this virtually unknown Little Boots track? Interesting, right?

I’ve heard a short snippet of “New In Town” and I’ve been asked not to share it. Beyond this promotional clip, I have not heard or seen the full track available anywhere (if you have it, share the wealth!). Personally, I think once Radio 1 gets their catapulting little hands on this single, the world won’t know what hit it. It’s quite the follow-up to, and a worthy successor of “Stuck On Repeat” and “Meddle.” At least I got that vibe from the clip I heard; and these remixes aren’t bad at all. I’m particularly partial to the Fred Falke one, myself.

Luis: “New In Town” is Little Boots next single :) I got confirmation from her today! This is copied from the mail:

“[...] Don’t worry this isn’t Boots going diva, I’m just in the middle of touring UK and have to go to LA for 2 days (?!) to finish a track I’m really excited about, and as the album deadline is next week there wasn’t really any other way. I know I know I said it was finished, but honestly it pretty much is…tracklisting is soooooo hard.

Anyway…some good news for you, the wait is over…I will actually be releasing a REAL SINGLE soon….what you thought the album was out already?? Yeah, so do most people but I actually haven’t even released a song properly yet so it really is exciting! Get to do my first video and did the artwork shoot the other day and it went great. Anyway it’s called ‘New In Town’ which I did with the incredibly talented Greg Kurstin and his equally talented dog Dave, I’m really happy we got to go with this song first as it was always my gut instinct. I just don’t really think there’s anything else around that sounds quite like it…so I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I’ll let you know when we have a release date! [...]”

But I don’t have the new single, only the remixes.. But she put up a remix on Click on her myspace today (I think)!
