Little Boots Remedy (A1 Bassline Get Hype Remix) stream remixes music mp3
Little Boots’ “Remedy,” is by far, my favorite song off her full-length debut album Hands. It’s going to be a sure-fire hit. But in the meantime, Little Boots has recruited DJ A1 Bassline to remix “Remedy” and turn it into a dance-floor burning 5-minute smash.

The remix is a barrel of beats and synths that completely overpower the vocal track. If you’ve heard the original, you will miss Remedy’s killer hook (the hook, man!). Throughout the remix’ 5-plus minutes, you are anticipating a breakdown that makes the most of this song’s ultra-catchy chorus. Sadly, that breakdown never comes. Instead of feeling impressed by A1 Bassline’s unpredictability (which is what he was going for, I’m sure), I felt cheated. This didn’t resemble my summer jam in no way, shape or form.

I’m a bit of a bassline/dubstep fan myself, and I’ve enjoyed a couple of A1 remixes before (specifically Ladyhawke – Back of the van). This remix is a bit…meh. Not amazing, not terrible. Thanks for pointing out the Little Boots track though.
