I think I slept on this one, but thank you Mel for emailing me this track! At some point in the not-so-forgotten past, electro-pop sensation Little Boots covered one of the only songs I like from the Virgins and added her little synth-touch to it over a generic electric guitar loop.

You can tell this song was recorded and produced in no more than 15 minutes, but it’s the simplicity of this cover that makes it so good. I’m glad she recorded this proper, unlike her “Day N Nite” cover. So Boots, when are we going to hear that Kid Cudi collaboration you hinted towards at SXSW? Listen to the cover here.

I don’t know why I love this so much. Like really, it’s ridiculous.

And you know the blog-o-sphere’s collective head would explode if a Boots/Cudi collaboration happened.
